BDA had an extremely busy Spring/Summer in 2022, and we are very proud to say that the camps we organized were a big success, not only according to us, but also to all the feedback received daily during our camps from players and parents, as well as from the coaches and team managers who brought their teams to our camps.

As from the end of May, we hosted the U14 and U15 National Teams of England, both boys and girls, followed by the 3x3 Great Britain Men and Women National teams, who came to Serbia to prepare for the Commonwealth games. They did an excellent job in their preparation, and this was reflected in their results in the Commonwealth Games, where the GB Men’s team won a gold medal and the Women’s team won a silver medal. We take this opportunity to congratulate them for their success!

Soon after, in collaboration with Serbian Basketball Association, we hosted the Great Britain U18 Men’s team, who came to Serbia to prepare for the FIBA European Championship by playing 2 friendlies against the Serbian National Team.

The same was done with the U18 Women and the U16 Women Great Britain teams. They had an excellent experience in Serbia preparing for the FIBA European Championship.

Between 18th - 22nd July, BDA was in Cyprus, hosted by MGA Famagusta. This team came to our BDA camp last Summer, and this Summer they hosted our BDA coaches and management in Cyprus. It was agreed to continue this co-operation for many years ahead.

As from the beginning of August, BDA held 2 camps in Belgrade. Players from the London School of Basketball, Eurobasket Malta as well as players from Greece, Spain, Czech Republic and the USA took part in our camps.
They had the great opportunity of training with our coaches Vlada Vukojicic, Nebojsa Andric and Aleksandar Colic. Also, via Zoom, all the players had the unique opportunity of talking to BDA Director and assistant coach of Golden State Warriors, Dejan Milojevic. The players asked him many good questions, and Coach Milojevic was very happy to answer them all in a conversation of over 3 hours.

As always, BDA welcomed a very special guest: NBA Champion from Golden State Warriors, Nemanja Bjelica.
Nemanja spoke to the players, answered their questions, signed autographs, and took photos with them. This was a very special and memorable occasion for all BDA players.

And this is not all… we are continuing with our camps in October in our new facility Kovilovo Sports Complex in Belgrade, Serbia. We are looking forward to new challenges in the future.

Once again, we take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to all the players and their families for all their support. We would also like to thank Basketball England and the London School of Basketball.
We truly look forward to future co-operation.
